PROFILE ENGR. Hafeez Gbolahan Momoh

  Hafeez Gbolahan Momoh graduated from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State with B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with specialization in Power and Instrumentation and Control in 1997, and He was in the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos where he obtained a Master’s Degree (MTP) in Transportation Planning.

Hafeez Momoh was employed by the Lagos State Government in year 2000 and deployed to the Ministry of Transportation as an Engineer (Electrical/Electronic) in the same year. He later became the Head, Traffic Signal Light Unit between the years 2008 and 2017.

He was deployed to the Power Department of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in May, 2017, where he rose to become the Head of the Department.

Engineer Hafeez Momoh is in charge of planning, development of policy on Power and optimization of State Government Power Facilities for enhanced efficiency. He has contributed to the development of energy security and reduction in carbon emission in the State.

Engineer Hafeez Gbolahan Momoh is a Member, Council of Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and Institute of Transport Administration.

Hafeez Gbolahan Momoh also attended supplementary courses to boost his professional career and proficiency.
